Meet Our Staff: Marketing & Communications
Bob Sheffels
Communications Manager
Bob is responsible for producing all of SightLife's print publications. He grew up near Spokane and graduated from Washington State University with a degree in journalism. Before joining our organization in the summer of 2002, he worked as the Communications Director for the Washington State Food Dealers Association and the Northwest Marine Trade Association. He is the publisher of a successful regional book. Bob is an avid baseball fan who also enjoys golf and competing on the "Sons of Ichiro" bocce ball team. He and his wife Jennifer have two children.
Jonathan Hanneman
Digital Media & Communications Specialist
Jonathan Hanneman grew up in Wisconsin and holds both Bachelor and Masters degrees in fine arts. His artistic bent and strong computer skills led to his joining our communications group. Jonathan's duties include leading SightLife's web and video projects and assisting Bob with print media. He is also a Zend Certified Engineer in PHP 5.3.
Jonathan has traveled extensively, even spending a year in northeastern China teaching conversational English at a computer college. He's a big fan of Asian culture and cuisine. Outside of work, Jonathan likes exploring regional travel destinations with Shannon (his wife) and Tikka (their dog). A somewhat reluctant but self-professed geek, he also likes to distract himself by playing with pretty much any technology he can get his hands on.
Christina Psalms
Surgeon Liaison
Christina Psalms, originally from New Orleans, earned her degree in Business Administration from Xavier University of Louisiana. With years of experience working for the Keller Center for Corporate Learning, Bausch & Lomb, and Ciba Vision, she brings a wealth of knowledge of ophthalmic sales and marketing with her to SightLife. As surgeon liaison, Christina will be primarily responsible for interfacing with surgeons, obtaining new surgical placements, on-boarding new surgeons, ensuring their customer satisfaction, and ensuring SightLife's brand integrity.
Christina likes to stay active, enjoying football, mud runs, and kickboxing.
Aaron Hayden
Marketing Analyst Intern
Aaron Hayden hails from Boulder, Colorado, and earned his degree in Astrophysics from the University of Colorado.
Aaron, who recently finished service with the Peace Corps in Morocco, was the founding coordinator of Seattle University's Center for Business Ethics. He co-chairs the grants committee of the Sustainable Path Foundation, a philantropic group with a science-based philosophy. Aaron is also an avid bicyclist.
