Meet Our Staff: Finance
Jeanette Wilcox
Director of Finance
Born into a Navy family, Jeanette grew up all over the globe, including the east and west coasts of the United States plus Spain, Japan, and the Philippines. As an adult she felt amazed and grateful to put down roots in Bellingham, Washington, where she raised a family. She completed an AAS degree at Whatcom Community College and a BA in Accounting from Columbia College. Prior to joining SightLife in 2002, she was the owner of a bookkeeping service.
Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys sailing, gardening, photography, and home remodeling.
Tara Shepherd
Senior Accounting Specialist
Tara Shepherd grew up in Kirkland, WA and completed her BA in History at Western Washington University. She started working at SightLife in 2002. Her responsibilities include coordinating all accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, as well as other duties including processing all gifts and contributions made to SightLife.
Tara's interests include skiing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family.
Rhiannon Martin
Senior Accounting Specialist
Rhiannon Martin was born in Tucson, Arizona, but grew up in Edmonds, Washington. She has an AA degree from Shoreline community college with an emphasis in accounting and is currently taking online classes through Columbia College to finish a BA in Finance. Rhiannon joined SightLife in 2005 and shares responsibility for accounts payable and receivable and several other tasks in the finance department.
Before joining us Rhiannon worked for Washington Mutual and also was a preschool teacher. She spends most of her time taking care of her son and spending time with family. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, especially on a nice day.
Ian Heilbron
Accounting Associate
Ian Heilbron grew up in Kailua, Hawaii, and graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Accounting.
In his free time, Ian likes to snowboard and keep up with his favorite team, the Seattle Sounders FC.
