Thomas Good
Eye Recovery Technician
Before his retirement, Tom Good was SightLife's Regional Director for California's San Joaquin Valley. Tom was the Executive Director of Fresno's Lions Eye Bank of the San Joaquin Valley for 30 years and brought a wealth of experience in eye banking and health care to the position. He was the originator of the International Cornea Project (now operated by the San Diego Eye Bank) which has sent thousands of corneas around the world and provided an outlet for US eye banks to send their excess cornea tissue.
Tom and his wife enjoy traveling the world together.
Dawn Galeener
Eye Recovery Technician
Dawn Galeener, originally of Illinois, graduated from Shawnee Community College with a degree in surgical technology and cosmetology. She enjoys creating, gardening, swimming, and exercising her brain with continuing education.
Katrina Powell
Eye Recovery Technician
Katrina Powell is a native Californian. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Math and Applied Science.
Katrina loves to read, garden, and cook. We hear she makes a pretty mean cinnamon bread!
Gwen Green
Eye Recovery Technician
Gwen Green, who spent her formative years in Colfax, California, is currently working on a degree in Biology. Her work experience includes doing environmental education for the California Department of Fish & Game.
A mother of 7, Gwen uses what free time she can spare to enjoy backpacking and woodworking.
Debbie Termeer
Eye Recovery Technician
Debbie Termeer grew up in Fresno, California. She graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a degree in Home Economics (emphasis in Child, Family, and Consumer Sciences).
Debbie's previous work experience includes being a Quality Inspector Technician for the Lions Eye Bank of the San Joaquin Valley, now a part of SightLife.
Lucy Schneidman
Eye Recovery Technician
Lucy Schneidman grew up in Quincy, Illinois. She is a Doctor of Optometry, having graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
Lucy likes to spend time outdoors in Marin County with her family and bake desserts with her twin girls. In the odd quiet moment she has to herself, Lucy also likes to curl up with a good book.
Matt Kuzma
Eye Recovery Technician
Matt Kuzma grew up in the California Bay Area and holds a degree in Biology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Before joining SightLife, Matt worked in dental offices and other bay area laboratories.
Matt likes to swim, snowboard, golf, play basketball, cook, and keep tabs on his favorite team, the San Francisco Giants.
Heidi Henderson
Eye Recovery Technician
A Fresno native, Heidi Henderson graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Sociology.
Heidi likes to spend time outdoors with her husband and daughter.
Heather Bradley
Eye Recovery Technician
Heather Bradley grew up in the Bay Area and holds a degree in Emergency Medicine from Santa Rosa Junior College. She also has medical experience as an EMT with an ambulance service.
Heather enjoys snowboarding and is a giant baseball fan — San Francisco Giants, that is!
