"Beyond the Headlines" Organ and Tissue Donation Segment
On August 7th, 2011, KGO-TV News in San Francisco aired a segment on the program “Beyond the Headlines” on SightLife’s efforts to eliminate corneal blindness. Cheryl Jennings interviewed Rusty Kelly, Director of SightLife Operations for California. The segment explored why SightLife focuses on cornea donation solely and what it is doing to eliminate corneal blindness for the 10 million people worldwide that suffer from this disease.
