What is cornea disease?

Let’s start with the cornea; it’s the clear surface at the front of the eye. It’s often called “the window to your eye.”

Your cornea protects the rest of your eye from dust, germs and other stuff that could cause damage.

Your cornea also lets light into your eye, and helps you focus on what you’re looking at. So anything that affects your cornea usually affects your sight. And your eye can be perfectly healthy, but if your cornea is damaged your sight can suffer.

Most forms of cornea disease cause “clouds” to form in the cornea. When the cornea is full of the cloudy material no light gets in – you can’t see.

Thankfully there’s a cure for most people who have cornea disease! Even better, you can give that cure and make a blind person see! Just $120 will give sight to a person who is blind from cornea disease. Please, give sight to a blind person today!
