We’re changing to better serve your needs.

The Northeast Pennsylvania Lions Eye Bank has joined forces with SightLife, the only global health organization committed to eliminating corneal blindness worldwide. This combination allows us to further expand our distribution to ophthalmic surgeons across the United States, as well as to surgeons internationally, as SightLife is the largest provider of corneal tissue for transplant in the world. Our organizations are highly aligned in both mission and professional standards. Becoming part of a larger entity benefits everyone, creating a stronger network across the United States and the globe.

While our name is changing to SightLife, our eye banking program will continue to serve surgeons, recipients and donor families from our facility in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Our partners will have greater access to expanded services and sight-restoring corneal tissue from SightLife.

Surgeons, here’s what you need to know.

Surgeons will continue to request and be offered tissue as they have in the past, working with the same staff members and contacting us through the same phone/fax numbers. Or if preferred, you and your staff can utilize the simple on-line portal to request tissue from the link to the right.

Donor families and recipients, we’re here for you.

Contact Dena Gabel, Partner Relations Manager, at dena.gabel@sightlife.org for assistance.
