The Living Legacy Registry was created through legislation approved in the spring of 2003 to enable the public to make informed choices about organ and tissue donation as well as to record their personal decisions.
Your registration is considered legal consent for donation. The registry is a centralized, confidential database of everyone who has registered to be an organ and tissue donor. Information on the registry cannot be sold or used for commercial purposes and can be accessed only to determine an individual's wishes regarding organ and tissue donation.
