Christopher Capuzzo
Medical Review Coordinator
Before attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Christopher grew up in Brownsboro, Alabama. After receiving a B.S. degree in Psychology, Christopher joined the Alabama Eye Bank.
As a coordinator, Christopher works with the families of eye tissue donors to obtain consent for recovery. He also reviews donor chart records that help distribution coordinators determine suitability of recovered tissue for transplant.
Christopher enjoys spending time outdoors when he's not working at SightLife. A recent transplant to Seattle from Alabama, he's also very excited to teach us how a real barbeque is done.
Christina Howard
Medical Review Coordinator
Christina grew up in Akron, Ohio, and graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a degree in biology.
Before joining the Foundation, Christina volunteered for a year as a program assistant at Sojourner Place, a transitional house for women. She counts this among her proudest accomplishments. She also assisted with cancer research projects for a summer as an intern at Northwest Biotherapeutics.
Christina is interested in traveling of all kinds, cooking for friends, and Seattle's music scene.
Rene Maldonado
Medical Review Coordinator
Rene Maldonado's roots began in Oaxaca, Mexico, where he was born. At age six, his family moved to Eastern Washington, where they have lived since. Although Rene moved to Seattle, he still remains deeply rooted in E. WA with frequent visits to family and friends.
Rene graduated with a B.A. in Biology from Whitman College. In 2001, he started working as a recovery technician for the Eye Bank and later became full time. Since then, he has become a SightLife Coordinator and earned his CEBT in 2004. Being part of a humanitarian organization that is a global leader of sight restoration is important to him. Knowing that through his work he has helped enhance people's lives is both rewarding and motivating.
On his time off, Rene has been busy traveling throughout the west coast. And he's looking forward to when he goes international. Other things he enjoys are movies, TV, and lots of music.
Andrea Crosson

Andrea previously worked for SightLife as an Eye Bank Technician and Referral Coordinator and has also worked for Northwest Tissue Services as a tissue coordinator.
Andrea likes to run, paint, and shop. She also enjoys playing with Coach, her cocker spaniel.
