Jeremy Shuman
Technical Director
Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Whitman College in Walla Walla and his Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
He has always called Seattle his home, although he has lived, studied, and/or worked in many countries, including China, Australia, Vietnam, and Samoa. In Samoa, he taught high school biology and computer courses with the United States Peace Corps.
As Technical Director of SightLife, Jeremy supervises and manages SightLife operations and technical personnel to ensure that the process runs efficiently from eye tissue recovery to distribution. Ongoing projects under his direction include assisting with the establishment and growth of eye banks in developing countries.
Jeremy's outside interests include skiing, reading, photography, salsa dancing, and travel.
Jesse Brannan
Technician Trainer
Jesse Brannan grew up in Bellingham, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington with Bachelors degrees in Zoology and Psychology.
Jesse is responsible for the training of our SightLife technicians, ensuring all recovery is performed according to our strict standards. In addition to his work with SightLife, Jesse is also a Certified Tissue Bank Specialist.
Jesse likes to spend time with his wife and son, camp, SCUBA dive, read and travel.
